Baby Banz Earmuffs Review

A few weeks back my husband and I were looking for something to do with our then 4 month old son, Jack.  I discovered a parade was happening a few blocks away, and thought that would be a really fun thing to bring him to.  Then we got to thinking.  Fire engines, lots of screaming kids, horns honking, balloons popping.  And we realized, that's a lot of loud noises for such a little guy.  We've already noticed that Jack didn't take well to vacuums, and even loud people.  So we decided not to go.

I started thinking about the summer and all the fun events I wanted to experience with my son.  How could we get him involved in all the fun, while still making him feel comfortable, and protecting those little ears.  I started researching online and found that "noise induced hearing loss" caused by exposure to excessively loud sounds, is irreversible, and can not be medically or surgically corrected.  I came across a company called Banz.

When they came in the mail, I was surprised by how little and light they were.  They literally fit in the palm of my hand.  Jack is used to wearing sun hats, but he's never worn earmuffs, so I was a little hesitant to put them on.  To my surprise, he loved them!  In fact, it didn't even seem like he noticed they were on his head.  They were so light, with nice padding on the strap, and the best part is that they are adjustable.  In fact, they can be worn up to age 2!  I can't think of another product we use that will last him that long!

Jacks first 4th of July fireworks went off without a hitch, Mama can now vaccum whenever I want, and lots more fun summer activities are now possible thanks to Baby Banz!!
