If there was a fire and I could only save one article of clothing, (besides my wedding gown), it would be this vintage tartan capelet. Not only is it just amazeballs, but I got it for $2 at a yard-sale. For Day 3 of the Mama and Me Capsule Wardrobe Challenge, Jack and I are attending a friends baby shower. I'm a firm believer that you don't have to wear a dress to look pulled together. It is the first really cold day of the year here in PA, and I just can't bring it to myself to bare my legs. Dark denim skinny jeans from Old Navy, paired with a thifted slouchy grey cashmere sweater and statement necklace from H&M felt comfy yet dressy, with my Nine West peep toe slingbacks.
I snatched up Jack's Baby Gap chambray button down at Weeusbales, a kids consignment event in Lancaster, PA, and layered it with a soft and cozy turtle sweater from Gymboree and dark denim Baby Gap skinny jeans. We were not expecting the weather to turn cold so fast, so we're still waiting for our fall shoe order to ship from Etsy. Can't wait for you guys to see the cuteness!!
